ABOUT ME

Trained in real-time visual creation, Célia earned a degree specifically oriented toward video game development.
She subsequently developed a hybrid practice situated between visual creation, interaction design, and programming. As early as 2015, she began working with immersive systems, first through C.A.V.E environments and later with the first virtual reality headsets.

She has worked within several studios leading R&D projects focused on XR creation and continues today to collaborate as an independent artist with various studios in the immersive sector. In 2018, she co-founded two collectives, including Cosa Mentale, through which she continues to explore formats such as interactive installations, audiovisual performances, video mapping, experimental games, and hybrid forms in dialogue with contemporary dance.

Her work draws inspiration from emerging technologies and questions their uses through sensitive and reflective devices. She conceives her works as reactive systems, generating experiences that engage the body and the perception of the audience, fostering a renewed relationship with the artwork. Beyond the mere use of new technologies, she advocates for a free, thoughtful, and critical approach to digital practices, attentive to their cultural, societal, and ecological implications.
